Wow, has it really been this long since I last posted something?

Well, I was just bored and started google-ing. I noticed something that I had never noticed before. Did you know that many of the places in Middle-earth, like Rohan, Minas Tirith, Rivendell, Imladris and even Mirkwood do exist in real life? (Just go to google maps and try).

It is amazing how many places of ME have found their way into our world. Makes one think, doesn't it? :)

I just had to share this one too. I wish he had drawn more. Aren't they cute?? *g*

Last weekend I finished reading the Silm (again). I was just wondering....where do we take the fact from that Elrond and Elros were twins? I cannot find it anywhere in there and not in the Unfinished Tales or the letters....but maybe I looked at the wrong places. Just wondering though....

Well, some you know that I started my new story. It is my first Aragorn/Legolas slash story. Although, it is no pwp and I tried to make it a A/L h/c story. I am still working on it and have half of it finished (the bad guys refused to actually *be* bad, so I had to irk them a little before they cooperated).

I am still a long ways from actually beginning to post (I want to have the whole story finished before posting. I fear to lose encouragement once I see the reviews *looks frigthened at reader* You will be nice, wont you??)

Anyways, a part of the story has been inspired by a picture of Lake Town I found via google. To let you see what it is I am writing about (and to make you curious, make no mistake *evil grin*), see the following picture.

I have started on my new story and it goes reasonably well so far. But, I need a beta for this story.

I thought I ask here for some help, instead of mailing some betas I know. I don't want to push somebody into betaing this story. ;)

Well, it concerns my very first slash/smut story Aragorn/Legolas story. I try to keep it R rated, but one never knows....*g* I have 20 50 pages so far and I am aiming for 100-140. But well, you know me... *sigh*

Hi!

Okay, no sense in beating around the bush. My computer broke down, I had no backup *sigh* and therefore I have lost my newer stories. Which includes the first three chapters of the Thorongil story and the first few chapters of the story for Michelle.

Grrr *insert expletive here*

Now what am I to do? I really have no desire to re-write it all. And, I coulnd't do that, even if I wanted to. I write with the spur of the moment and never have a concept of something, besides the actual plot.

So, I decided to *not* write the stories again. Period. But, here is what I will try to do:

Michelle story: I have a new idea, and an even better one. One, where I will not have to wrack my mind for a plot without spiders and hideous wolves. I feel very confident that you all will like the story. The plot has been playing in my mind for days now and I feel my fingers itching to write it.

Thorongil: Well, I need some help here. I cannot re-write the story. But, I will try to start again, using the old idea as basis and then go from there. But I fear the Michelle story will be finished before the Thorongil story.

I got my new computer today, will take it home tomorrow and then hope that the internet works. *crosses fingers and knocks on wood*. I am free on monday because of a national holiday *YAY*, so I will try and write a bit.

Ah, spring! It has more than 25°C here, unbelievable. The cherry tree in front of my house (at least I think it is cherry...) is blossoming a pearly white. *sigh*.

Anyway...back on topic.

Hello!

Spring is here, sunshine, a free weekend...*sigh* Too good to be true.
Anyway, my plot bunnies have woken from hibernation and I feel the urge to write again. Gosh, how I missed that. *big grin*

But, now I have a problem (again, hihi). Which bunny shall I follow into its tunnel?
Help me! *looks warily at the bunnies*

I know I did this before and then did not write the story, but that was because the bunnies left me. Now, they are back! Wohooohooo!

I think it is time for a new post and why not about something that makes me extremely happy?
I posted the last chapter of my multi-chapter story "The Roots of Evil". The story is therefore officially completed.
